2016 was a really strange kind of year. I started studying in university and i had to adapt to this new order on how time is organized and new rythms fn doing things. The year started off really well, i went with a group of friends to Chiloe, i think it`s the prettiest place i have ever seen in my life. We stayed in a cabin in the woods and everything seemed as pure magic. Then when i came back I had to go to university. I met a lot of cool people as soon as i entered to university. but adapting to the ways of study has been kind of difficult for me because i`ve always had severe problems on organizing time, and now that it`s like when i have to be more organized, it`s been a really tough broplem for me. But i like it in here, i like the people, the ambient, but mostly the career. Architecture has been a very non-conventional type of career, even strangier than i thought, but that non convention is what i like of it. I also met my girlfriend here in university, so that has been really cool.

Musically this year has been very good, a lot of my favorite bandas have put out awesome records, like Katatonia, Opeth, Inter Arma, Alcest, just to name a few. I saw Katatonia live, which it was a concert i have been awiting for sooo long, and i catched Anders(the guitarrist) guitar pick, so it was very cool, the setlist was flawless. I also saw the godfathers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath, i arrived very early with some friends to Estadio Nacional and we got to be at the very front, they played a whole bunch of classics since it`s their farewell tour :c glad i got to se them before they disappear. But the concert i liked the best i think it was Steven Wilson, it was a 3 hour show playng his last record in full and another set where he played classics along with songs of his former band, Porcupine Tree. It was the most emotive concert i have ever been to, and when they played Lazarus(he dedicated this song to David Bowie) i couldn`t help it anymore and started crying like a little girl haha
And with my band, Amok Damnation, has been a really cool year too, I changed from just doing vocals to doing vocals and playing guitar at the same time, it was really challenging at first, i had to practice a lot to fully coordinate the guitar playing with my vocals, but i think its the best thing we ould have done for the band, aour live shows now are so much powerfull than before, we also got a new bass player who plays a fretless 6 string bass so that adds a whole new world of flavors to our music. Now we got invited to play in Chiloe metal fest for february 2017, so we are getting bigger nd bigger everytime.

All in all, it has been a toughyear, i never apreciated sleeping so much, since now i dont get to sleep very much, and sometimes university can get a bit frustrating, but i still like it very much and i will keep on persevering until i fully adapt to the rythm,That has been basically my 2016.
